Family and Domestic Violence Grants

Accredited Training for Sexual Violence Responses

Two or more individuals or organisations must apply for this grant together, showing how they will work with each other to develop, and nationally deliver, accredited training on sexual violence.  The free training must help frontline workers across Australia better recognise and respond to people who experience sexual violence. The funding will be provided over a three year period.

Men as Role Models for Preventing Violence Against Women and their Children (GO2885)

Organisations with expertise in family, domestic or sexual violence, gender equality or primary prevention can apply for a grant to fund prevention activities that:

  • encourage men to be positive role models
  • aim to change attitudes and behaviours that contribute to violence against women.

The minimum you should apply for is $750, 000 GST exclusive over three years.  You can apply for no more than $900,000 GST exclusive in total over three years of the grant period.

Community-led Projects to Prevent Violence Against Women and their Children (GO2886)

Organisations with expertise in family, domestic or sexual violence, gender equality or primary prevention can apply for a grant to fund community-led prevention activities that:

  • challenge violence-supportive attitudes and behaviours
  • actively involve in the development of the project the people in the community who are being impacted.

The minimum total grant amount you should apply for is $350, 000 GST exclusive over three years.  You can apply for no more than $550,000 GST exclusive in total over three years of the grant period.
