Zali

Zali’s office can arrange for Warringah residents to receive a personal message of congratulations for special birthdays or wedding anniversaries.

Depending on the event, the message will come from either the Prime Minister, Governor-General or the Queen.

  • on their 50th wedding anniversary and every year after
  • on their 90th birthday and every year after

Australians can receive a message from the Governor-General:

  • on their 50th wedding anniversary and every year after
  • on their 100th birthday and every year after

Australians can receive a message from The Queen:

  • on their 60th wedding anniversary and every fifth year after
  • on their 100th birthday and every fifth year after

Requesting a message

Please apply at least two months before the event to ensure you receive your certificate in time. A new application is required for each certificate – they are not sent automatically. You can also request a message after an event.

Step One:

Gather supporting documentation for the event that clearly shows the full name of the person celebrating and the date of the anniversary. This can be a birth certificate, marriage certificate or passport.

If you don’t have the documents, please fill out a statutory declaration form and have it witnessed. Forms can be downloaded from the Attorney General’s website or any post office.

Step Two:

Please fill out the below form and attach the documents as directed.

Be sure to include the name, email address and postal address for yourself and for the person who will be receiving the message. Include which event is being celebrated and its date, as well as the date you would like to receive the certificate.
