Happy Easter & Upcoming Election

17 April 2025

I’ve enjoyed getting out and about in Warringah to meet and speak with so many in the community over recent weeks.

I have hosted a number of community forums and Politics in the Pub events, joined Team Zali volunteers door knocking and at the Manly, Mosman and North Sydney market days and attended local events including early ANZAC services, the Manly Fun Run and Balmoral Swim.

It has also been wonderful to see so many Zali signs out on fences and front gates – thank you to those who have put them up in support – it’s really appreciated. We have made a concerted effort not to put signs up all over public land, preferring to have the personal endorsement from the community.  If you’d still like to put up a sign, please read on to learn how to order one.

With the election just over two weeks away, there is a lot of misinformation and disinformation being distributed. You may have received false and misleading mail in your letterbox – particularly around my voting record. I’ve had a lot of queries about that, so please find more detail on that below.

If you ever receive information that is just not quite right, please check my website or contact my team to fact check.

Ethical Political Advertising Code

I have long advocated for truth in political advertising and introduced legislation to prohibit misleading and deceptive political ads during election campaigns. I recently launched the Ethical Political Advertising Code and encourage all candidates and special interest groups to commit to accurate, substantiated and credible campaigning that puts voters first.

Finally, I would like to take this opportunity to wish you and your families a very happy Easter. I hope you enjoy the break and if you are travelling, please stay safe on the roads.

Out & About

Voting Record

The smear campaign against my voting record is untrue.  I assess every bill on its merits and engage with experts and the Warringah community to make careful decisions about each parliamentary vote.

I’ve published my official voting record, sourced directly from the Parliamentary Library, so the facts are clear.
