It is critical that we reform the Safeguard Mechanism into a policy lever that actually works to constrain the emissions of the biggest polluters in Australia.
Here is my submission to the Safeguard Mechanism Consultation Taskforce on how we can reform it so that it will genuinely assist in getting us to 43% emissions reduction by 2030 and beyond.
