I made a submission to the Brookvale Structure Plan, while supportive of the concept of revitalising Brookvale, particularly through the active transport and sustainability components, I urge the Council to be as ambitious as possible with its climate targets and use this once-in-a-generation opportunity to create a world-leading green and sustainable hub that will see the suburb transition to net zero emissions before 2050.

The development also presents the opportunity to enhance housing affordability in the area and contributions towards the Northern Beaches Council’s Affordable Housing Policy.
